How we pick
A part only makes the list if both its specifications and its warranty are published by the store or brand, and if it was listed for sale on the AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts website on the check date. We rank value by what you get per dollar: for batteries, the price per year of free replacement; for brake pads, the warranty and included hardware at each price; for wipers, the blade type that suits your climate. When two stores sell the same part at the same price, we say so, so you can buy wherever is closer or has the better deal that week.
