About PartsMatchup

PartsMatchup helps you find the part that fits, at the best price. We compare the same parts at AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts on the same day, show who is cheaper, and put each store’s warranties, return windows, rewards and free services side by side, with the date we checked and a link to the store’s own page.

Why we built it

Auto parts shopping usually means opening two store websites, entering your car twice and still guessing which store’s house brand matches the other’s. Coupon sites add expired codes and noise. PartsMatchup does the matching for you: the same part number where both stores carry it, the closest tier where each sells its own brand, and only offers published by the stores themselves.

What we do and do not do

  • We check prices manually on each store’s public website and date every check. Prices vary by location, so we state the stores we used.
  • We quote store policies from the stores’ official pages and link to them.
  • We compare parts on published specifications, warranty and price. We do not run a lab, so we never claim hands-on tests and we do not publish star ratings.
  • We are independent. PartsMatchup is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts or any brand we mention. Store names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the stores we compare.

How we make money

Some store links may earn us a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you, and we may show clearly labeled ads. Neither affects which store or part comes out ahead in a comparison. Read our affiliate disclosure, how we compare and editorial policy.

What is next

We plan to add more stores, such as O’Reilly Auto Parts, RockAuto and Amazon, and more part categories. Our price data is also published in a machine-readable file at /data/parts.json so shopping assistants can cite dated prices accurately. Found an outdated price? Tell us.
